Job summary

GA Telesis is seeking a Receiving Inspector in Wilmington, OH to perform incoming/outgoing inspections of aircraft parts and materials and ensure compliance with ATA106/ATA300 and ISO quality standards. Reporting to the Director of Quality, you will read traceability docs, certify material releases, and maintain strict attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in Quality Control, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with ERP systems and MS

Qualifications

• 1-2 yrs of experience in Quality Control processes.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic math skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

• Conduct a complete visual inspection of all incoming parts and materials.
• Handle material with necessary precautions and in accordance with requirements for safe handling.
• Conduct a complete vision inspection of all items being shipped.
• Control of non-conforming materials.
• Certification and release of materials.
• Read and understand traceability documents.
• Quality oriented, attention to detail, self-motivated, reliable and able to multi-task when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

TheReceiving Inspectorplays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GAT processes. This position is responsible for performing incoming and outgoing inspections of aircraft parts and materials along with required production procedures. Reporting to the Director of Quality, the ideal individual should be quality and detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and able to multi-task, to perform each essential duty according to quality standards and expectations. This role is located in Wilmington, OH.

• Familiar with ISO9001, AS9120 and ASA-100 standards.
• Familiar with procedures for completion of ATA106 certificate.
• Familiar with procedures for Maintenance Release certificates such as 8130’s, EASA Form One, Canadian Form one, etc.
