Job summary

Aero Design is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Inspector to join our team in the United States. This role manages incoming deliveries, verifies documentation, maintains inventory records, and supports material movements within our manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include receiving raw materials, RMA parts, and other shipments, reviewing paperwork, and ensuring alignment with purchase orders.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory control is preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process all incoming deliveries including raw materials and shipments.
• Verify packing slips, part counts, and quantities against purchase orders.
• Review and manage open purchase orders and nonconforming materials.
• Enter inventory into the MRP/ERP system and collaborate with Accounting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in receiving and logistics.

Perform preliminary review of receiving documentation and part paperwork. Review and manage open purchase orders. Verify packing slips, part counts, and quantities received against purchase orders. Assist in sorting and processing nonconforming materials. Work within the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system and collaborate with the Accounting Department to accurately receive inventory into the Aero Design system. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the receiving and logistics functions.

Qualifications

Education High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

At least 2 years of receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory control experience.

Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Hazmat and/or DOT training or certifications are a plus.

Experience in an aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial environment is highly desirable.
