Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Quality Control Inspector in Brookfield Center, CT to verify that all incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies meet engineering drawings and PO requirements.

You will inspect electrical components and structural materials, document results, and file relevant supplier documentation. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus ability to read blueprints and perform measuring tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or electrical trade certification preferred.
• One year of experience in structural/electrical inspection in electromechanical industries.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, meters, calipers, computers).
• Blueprint and electrical schematic reading capability required.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies meet BOMs and PO requirements.
• Inspect incoming structural materials per drawings and purchase orders.
• Conduct sampling power testing for electrical components.
• Record results and update ERP system.
• Review supplier documentation (MTRs, COCs) and file appropriately.
• Isolate and quarantine defective materials to prevent production release.
• Generate NCRs with photos and precise defect descriptions.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supplier Quality, Production and Engineering for root-ccause investigations.
