You will manage inspectors, coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Quality, and maintain material traceability. The role emphasizes preventing nonconforming materials from entering production, maintaining inspection records, and driving supplier quality improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in quality control and receiving inspection in manufacturing.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience in inspection personnel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, POs, and specs.
• Familiarity with NCRs, corrective actions, and supplier quality.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with electrical enclosures, switchgear, or industrial panels is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles and supplier quality.

Aufgaben

• Supervise daily receiving inspection activities and assign priorities.
• Verify materials against drawings, BOMs, POs, and specs.
• Ensure traceability and proper documentation of inspection results.
• Coordinate NCRs and disposition with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production.
• Maintain material status in ERP and support audits and inspections.
• Coach inspectors on methods, accuracy, and safety standards.
• Escalate recurring defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
