Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in receiving inspection, manufacturing quality engineering, or supplier quality in a production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical data.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering oversight for receiving inspection to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and requirements.
• Receive, verify quantities, labeling, packaging, and documentation against purchase orders.
• Review drawings and GD&T to establish inspection requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and inspection criteria for incoming materials.
• Support MRB activities including nonconforming material evaluation and disposition.
• Ensure nonconforming material control per quality procedures and regulatory standards.
• Investigate recurring supplier defects and support corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection processes align with QMS and AS9100 standards.
