Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Machine Operator (Assistant Printing Press Operator) in Owensville, MO. The role involves assisting the press team by creating paper signatures for book pages and maintaining the offset press. Training is provided; no experience is required to start.

Shifts run 12 hours (3am–3pm or 3pm–3am) with a 36/48 hour schedule and a night shift premium. Benefits include PTO, health/dental/vision, 401k, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and good math/measuring skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with mechanical tasks.
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions.
• Experience with printing presses is preferred but not required.

• Make-ready, run and maintain an offset printing press.
• Insert blankets and plates.
• Assist the Press Operator with register and color adjustments.
• Work in a team environment and cross-train with others.

Machine Operator (Assistant Printing Press Operator)

Pay:

$23.00-$30.25/hour with $1.25/hour shift premium for night shift, based upon experience

Shift:

12 Hour Crew 3am-3pm or 3pm - 3am (36 hours one week and 48 hours the next) Only work ½ the days in a year!
