Job Purpose and Summary

This role involves performing various tasks related to receiving and shipping ingredients, including:

• Performing trailer inspections and securing trucks prior to loading/unloading
• Checking and verifying all product labels, names, and quantities received from suppliers and providing documents to the Inventory Clerk
• Unloading, unpacking, and labeling materials for storage
• Collaborating with team members to accurately place items in designated storage areas
• Using handheld scanners to complete inventory moves
• Moving products from trucks to warehouses, ensuring proper storage and temperature conditions, including allergen and organic food controls
• Reporting and handling damaged products or incoming materials
• Supporting compliance with Food Safety and Quality Management System policies and procedures
• Sorting, organizing pallets and drums, and bailing recyclables
• Moving products from warehouses to trucks following the FIFO method
• Performing trailer inspections and securing trucks prior to loading
• Using scanners for loading, transferring products, and splitting pallets
• Working safely and following directions from supervisors or leads
• Performing other duties as assigned
