Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a Performance Food Group broadline distributor, seeks a warehouse receiving associate to oversee the dock area, inspect and verify quality of materials, and enter data into the inventory system. You will coordinate storage and support efficient product flow in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6–12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Preferred: pallet jack and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving dock area to inspect, count and verify quality and labeling of materials and supplies.
• Enter information into inventory database and coordinate storage of supplies.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure efficient flow of product through production process.
• Perform other duties as assigned to best serve the company.
