Job summary

Revlon is hiring a Receiving Coordinator for our Salem, Virginia facility. This full-time onsite role oversees the receiving dock, directs activities, and ensures quality and lean manufacturing standards are met.

You will train staff and collaborate with Dispatchers, Carriers, and Transportation teams to maintain efficient operations. Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma, 2+ years of lead or 5+ years receiving experience, strong planning, and MS Office proficiency.

  • Minimum two years lead experience or minimum five years receiving experience.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership and people management abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and train others.
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.

This role is an Onsite Role: This role requires full-time presence at our Salem, Virginia office.

Responsibilities:

The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and directing all work a ctivities on the receiving dock as well as communicating with Dispatchers, Carriers, and the Transportation team. The Coordinator must ensure that the process of receiving and the inspection of goods are consistent with the company’s quality, conformity, and Lean Manufacturing standards . They are responsible for training new permanent and temporary personnel to perform any job assignment in the department safely and efficiently. The Coordinator is responsible for the inspection of inbound quality of product (pallet, carton, & individual unit), labor efficiency (KPI) reporting, receiving dock/warehouse location accuracy, and for conducting daily safety meetings to promote awareness. The Coordinator m ust have full working k nowledge of DSI, JD Edwards, and SAP. Coordinator will also be expected to work in other areas of the Salem facility as business dictates.

Qualifications:

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Minimum of two years lead experience or minimum of five years receiving experience.
  • Excellent planning,prioritizationand organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership and people skills.
  • Must be proficientin Microsoft Office, Word,and Excel.
  • Must be able to safelyoperatematerial handling equipment, including forklifts, power hand jacks, sit-downcounter balancetrucks, etc. and train others.
  • Mustdemonstratethe ability toutilizecreative thinking to obtain all departmental goals.
  • Must be willing to work overtimeandweekends.

Shift hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Revlon is unable to sponsor or transfer employment visas for this role; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa support.

The base pay range for this position is $21.00 / hour; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation.

Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are covered by the company-paid basic life insurance policy and company-paid short-term disability insurance (the benefit commences upon hire and allows for a portion of base salary for up to 26 weeks if you are disabled). Other benefits offered to employees include but are not limited to the following: long-term disability, supplemental life insurances, flexible spending accounts, critical illness insurance, group legal, identity theft protection, etc. Employees are also able to enroll in our 401k Retirement Savings Plan.

Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Vacation will depend on role.
