Johnson Service Group, Inc. is hiring a Receiving Clerk for our client site in Cranford, NJ. The ideal candidate will have warehouse receiving experience and proficiency with MS Office tools.

The position pays $20–$23 per hour and runs Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with duties including receiving, logging, packing, and inventory control. Qualified applicants will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, reliable driving license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Relevant warehouse receiving experience needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams & Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse facility by breaking down boxes and controlling waste.
• Store shipping pallets and other warehouse materials and equipment.
• Follow procedures and inventory control processes; comply with safety policies.
• Receive and unload equipment deliveries.
• Scan and log all incoming packages/shipments and obtain signatures on delivery.
• Separate materials and store according to layout and project specifications.
• Weigh and label overnight express and freight parcels.
• Recommend cost-effective shipping procedures to staff.
• Call for couriers and notify staff when courier deliveries arrive.
• Ensure orders are shipped timely and in accordance with project specs and stock controls.
• Complete all documentation and data entry before releasing shipments.
