Job summary

U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. in Cranbury, NJ is seeking a Receiving Associate to join our Distribution Team.

You will receive, inspect, and store materials, and ensure accurate inventory handling following SOPs. Morning or day shifts are available. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, warehouse or receiving experience preferred, forklift operation, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and basic computer/inventory system skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in receiving, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
• Ability to operate reach truck or sit-down forklift (certification may be required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and team communication.
• Ability to meet productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect materials using vendor packing lists and POs.
• Puts away materials by dating priority and system rules.
• Resolve receiving, put-away, returns, and process exceptions.
• Provide back-up support to the will-call center.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and SOPs.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
