Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator for the second shift in Hamilton, Ohio. The role involves operating various forklifts, ensuring safe handling of materials, and processing receipts in SAP.

You will verify shipments, prepare goods for storage or shipment, and help load/unload trucks while maintaining a clean, safe work area and adhering to company HPWS standards.

Qualifications

• Previous basic forklift experience with ability to obtain a license and operate various forklifts (order filler, stand-up reach, scissor lift).
• Possesses a stable work history and a strong personal desire to work safely and maintain a safe working environment.
• Demonstrates a strong customer focus along with a great work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe working environment by complying with safety and environmental policies and promoting safety.
• Operate and navigate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including Dock Stocker, Reach Truck, and scissor lift.
• Verify receipt of shipments, check quality, and document in SAP and packing slips.
• Process receiving transactions in SAP and update inventory levels.
• Inspect and store materials or prepare shipments per established procedures.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and verify Bill of Lading accuracy.
• Maintain logs and follow 6S and HPWS standards to keep the area organized.
• Complete monthly safety training and participate in continuous improvements.
