Job summary

Intermountain Electronics in Centralia, IL is seeking a Receiving Clerk I for the Day Shift. You will receive, unpack and store incoming materials, verify quantities against packing lists using Epicor, and document damages or discrepancies for reconciliation. Forklift operation and collaboration with Purchasing are part of the role.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic English literacy, and strong attention to detail. OT may be required and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents in English.
• Proficient in basic computer applications including Epicor.

Responsibilities

• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming material and supplies.
• Verifies quantity and description against packing lists, invoices, or records.
• Operates a forklift to move shipments and ensures proper tagging of materials.
• Maintains accurate inventory records and participates in cycle counts.
• Assists Accounts Payable with packing slips and receipts as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe receiving area and supports production schedules.
