Intermountain Electronics, Inc. (IE) is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving & Inventory Associate for our Price, Utah facility.

The role involves accepting shipments, verifying materials, and maintaining accurate receiving records to support efficient warehouse operations. The position uses Epicor for documentation and requires safe forklift operation, effective communication with purchasing and production teams, and a proactive approach to inventory control.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of shipping/receiving experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Ability to read and understand English shipping/receiving documents and follow procedures.
• Proficiency with Epicor and standard MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and safety-aware work habits.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and materials accurately and promptly.
• Verify material quantities and descriptions against documents.
• Maintain receiving records using Epicor and vendor docs; forward paperwork to Purchasing as needed.
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse.
• Identify and tag nonconforming materials; assist with discrepancies and claims.
• Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy activities.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, production, and other departments on material needs and timelines.
