Job summary

Intermountain Electronics (IE) in Illinois is seeking a Receiving Clerk I for the Day Shift at the Centralia facility. You will verify incoming shipments with Epicor, unpack and store materials, and move goods using a forklift. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2 years shipping/receiving experience. Strong English, basic IT skills, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or at least two years shipping and receiving experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand English to interpret shipping and receiving documents – invoices, bills of lading, manifests, etc.
• Ability to write English legibly for simple correspondence.
• Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide, calculate shipping and freight costs; discounts, fees, etc.
• Good PC skills, proficient in Word, Excel, and MS Outlook, EPICOR and other specialized inventory-tracking applications/software.

Responsibilities

• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming material and supplies.
• Verifies quantity and description of materials received against packing list and related documents.
• Operate a forklift to move shipments between areas and to trucks.
• Tag inbound materials and identify items with non-standard processes.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and perform inventory transactions.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory maintenance.
• Assist Accounts Payable with triple-match reconciliation.
