Job summary

Herff Jones, based in Indianapolis, is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join our Shipping & Receiving team. In this on-site role you will help unload trailers, verify and check-in materials, and distribute products throughout the facility.

You will process daily orders to UPS or FedEx, report inventory levels, input records into the Inventory Management System, and support other duties as needed. A high school diploma and 1–2 years in a similar shipping role are required, with English literacy and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1–2 years’ experience in a shipping/receiving role.
Ability to read and write in English.
Overtime and weekend availability during busy seasons.
Ability to prioritize and work independently.
Proficient computer skills with emails and MS Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

Assist in unloading trailers as they arrive.
Document and check-in materials and products received.
Distribute products throughout the facility.
Move materials throughout the Plant and Warehouse.
Process daily orders and route packages to UPS, FedEx, or other carriers as directed.
Report inventory levels of shipping materials to the Lead.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Document and input inventory records into the Inventory Management System.
