Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is seeking a Receiving Clerk to support the Receiving Department with incoming deliveries, inventory organization, and accurate recordkeeping. You will verify deliveries, process shipments, and maintain safe, organized storage areas in a fast-paced store environment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in a warehouse/receiving setting, strong organizational and data-entry skills, and familiarity with inventory software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in a warehouse or receiving environment.
• Solid knowledge of warehouse safety rules and procedures.
• Strong organizational and data-entry skills.
• Proficient with inventory software and MS Office.
• English reading/writing and ability to communicate effectively.
• Forklift experience preferred and requires proper training/license.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist Receivers with accepting, inspecting, and processing shipments.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy, quality, and condition.
• Organize merchandise, inventory, equipment, and supplies in storage areas.
• Review inventory levels and assist in reorder planning.
• Enter information into purchase orders, inventory logs, and reports.
• Use inventory software and tracking systems for documentation.
• Communicate with team members, management, drivers, and suppliers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free receiving area.
• Follow company policies and safety regulations.
• Post safety information and reinforce warehouse safety practices.
• Operate warehouse machinery safely when trained and authorized.
• Work independently and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment.
