Job description

The Warehouse Receiving Clerk performs all functions assigned by the Receiving Team Leader, including but not limited to, processing and receiving documents. Responsibilities

• Create receiving documents daily.
• Receive BOL from all delivery drivers, verifying that the quantities match the Receiving Document.
• Ensure that delivery drivers have signed the Delivery Driver Dock Procedures and Safety acknowledgement form.
• Process Monthly Store Survey.
• Process returns on a daily basis.
• Create Receiving License Tags for Receivers to tag product.
• Log and track all problems relating to receiving, contacting all parties involved to ensure each is aware of the problem.
• Process all verification functions as required.
• Participate in quarterly physical inventory or as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner to fellow team members and customers
• Ability to comply with all WFM policies and procedures
• Excellent data entry skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word and Excel, EXE, and PeopleSoft
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Ability to complete all tasks in a thorough and timely manner
• Knowledge of all relevant Whole Foods Market policies, procedures, core values, business philosophy, and quality goals
• High attention to detail and thoroughness in approach with all paperwork
• Proper use of knives, personal protective equipment, forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, six wheel carts, baler and all other equipment used during preparation and clean up within department and store
• Ability to work well with others, self-motivated and capable of working independently with little supervision. Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the Distribution Center, including nights, weekends and holidays as required

• Warehouse experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The wage range for this position is $20.00-$36.00 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
