El Super in Pomona, CA is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join the Store Operations Team. The role supports the store's receiving operations, manages product intake, and ensures accurate documentation while engaging customers and coworkers.

The position requires physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds and basic computer/Outlook skills. Training provided in a fast-paced grocery setting, with emphasis on service and community involvement.

What You'll Bring

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of the Store Director, the Receiving Clerk will be responsible for the entire operation of the receiving department for the store.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
