El Super in San Bernardino is seeking a Receiving Clerk to manage the store's receiving function under the Store Director. You will handle deliveries, verify quantities, assist with stocking, and ensure accurate records in a fast-paced grocery environment. This is an on-site role at 1578 W Baseline St.

The position requires physical stamina, teamwork, and basic PC skills. Starting rate is $16.90/hour, with retirement and education benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of the Store Director, the Receiving Clerk will be responsible for the entire operation of the receiving department for the store. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
