Job summary

Safe-Way Garage Door in Indiana is seeking a dependable Receiving Associate to help keep materials moving and products flowing through our fast-paced facility. This full-time, hands-on role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork as you handle inbound shipments and organize materials for production.

You will unload, inspect, store, and transport materials, operate forklifts, and assist with inventory counts while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or quality concerns.
• Pick and stage orders according to shipping manifests and routes.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts.
• Distribute incoming parts and materials throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Move tractor trailers as required.
• Support other receiving, warehouse, and production needs as assigned.

Safe-Way Garage Door is looking for a dependable, hardworking Receiving Associate to join our team!

Our Receiving Associates play an important role in making sure incoming materials are received accurately and products get where they need to go.

This is a full-time, hands-on position where attention to detail, safety, and teamwork matter every day.

What You’ll Do

As a Receiving Associate, you'll help keep materials and products moving throughout our facility. Your responsibilities will include:

• Unload materials and products from incoming vendor trucks
• Organize and move products to designated storage and production areas
• Operate forklifts, carts, pallets, and other material-handling equipment
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or quality concerns

• Empty facility hoppers as needed
• Move tractor trailers as required

Preferred

This Is a Physical Job

Our Receiving Associates stay active throughout the day. You should be comfortable:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Squatting, kneeling, reaching, and using your hands throughout the shift
• Occasionally lifting and moving up to 60 pounds
• Working around moving mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment
