Job summary

Safe-Way Garage Door is seeking a dependable Receiving Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this full-time role you will unload materials, organize storage, operate forklifts, and help move items to production areas to keep operations flowing.

You’ll inspect incoming materials, assist with inventory counts, maintain a clean and safe work area, and support other receiving and warehouse duties as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Ability to safely use industrial and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to move tractor trailers.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials and products from incoming vendor trucks
• Organize and move products to designated storage and production areas
• Operate forklifts, carts, pallets, and other material-handling equipment
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or quality concerns
• Pick and stage orders according to shipping manifests and routes
• Assist with inventory cycle counts
• Distribute incoming parts and materials throughout the facility
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Empty facility hoppers as needed
• Move tractor trailers as required
• Support other receiving, warehouse, and production needs as assigned
