Job summary

Summit Staffing, Inc. is hiring a Receiving Associate for weekend days in Romeoville, IL. The role involves unloading freight, verifying paperwork, and scanning items with an RF scanner.

You will move goods using a pallet jack and keep the dock area clean and safe throughout long 12‑hour shifts. Shift runs Sat–Mon, 5:00am–5:00pm, with peak pay of $21.50/hr (includes $2.50/hr premium) and base pay after peak of $19.00/hr.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a 12‑hour shift.
• Background check required.
• Warehouse or receiving experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks and containers.
• Check freight against paperwork and scan it with an RF scanner.
• Move product to put-away with a pallet jack.
• Keep the dock clean, safe and organized.

Job description

Receiving Associate | Romeoville, IL | Weekend days

Peak pay: $21.50/hr (includes $2.50/hr peak premium through 12/20/26). Paid weekly.

Shift:

• Weekend days: Sat–Mon, 5:00am–5:00pm, $21.50/hr

Peak hours: Every shift is working 6 days a week right now, with overtime paid at 1.5x. That means overtime hours every week through peak. Base pay after peak: $19.00/hr.

Breaks: Two paid 10‑minute breaks and a 30‑minute lunch, plus an extra paid break on 12‑hour shifts.

Start day: New starts on Saturdays.

Peak bonuses:

• +$100 every week you work every scheduled shift, on time
• Up to $1,000 at season end based on attendance

What you'll do:
