Job summary

FOX Factory is seeking a service facility technician to receive and inspect all incoming products, ensuring proper condition documentation and communication with the Service Manager about any issues.

The role involves assembling components, arranging supplies, and assisting with shipping tasks while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. A HS diploma and 1+ year experience in repair/service are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to use tools safely and properly without damaging product.
• Able to understand and execute detailed instructions.
• Able to describe and document details.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Inspect and document the condition of the product. Advise Service Manager of unusual occurrences seen on product.
• Uses advanced inspection methods when receiving products.
• Assembles/reassembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
• Advise Service manager when supplies are needed to perform tasks.
• Assists shipping completed components to customers
• Assists shipping defective material back to vendors
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment by adhering to all departmental procedures and safety regulations

Position Summary

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing Environment
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
