Job summary

The Florida Panthers are seeking a part-time Receiver/Stocker in the Beverage department at Amerant Bank Arena. The role supports receiving and staging all incoming products, maintains clean Beverage Stock rooms and coolers, and follows safety and health guidelines.

• Performs general cleaning of storage areas and assists Beverage Supervisor/Manager as needed.

Job Summary: The Receiver/Stocker position will assist in receiving and staging of all incoming products in the appropriate storage areas. The Receiver/Stocker is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Beverage Stock room and coolers.

Job Functions:

Specific duties included but are not limited to:

• Unpacks, examines, and stores incoming shipments in proper storeroom, cooler or freezer
• Rotate inventory to ensure product does not expire
• Follows all safety requirements when moving stock
• Understand and complies with company safety polices as well as all Health Department Food Safety regulations and Alcohol guidelines.
• General cleaning of all storage areas by sweeping, mopping, disposing of garbage and cardboard recycling
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Beverage Supervisor and/or Beverage Manager.

Qualifications:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Must be extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and a focus on quality and consistency
• Must be able to perform physical requirement of the position, including lifting to 50lbs and bending/standing/walking for extended periods of time without sitting
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where noise levels are generally high with heavy crowd traffic
• Must be able to work with a forklift
• Must possess and positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must have a "team-first" mentality with an eagerness to learn
• Must be able to work in an environment where the noise level is generally high, crowd traffic is heavy, temperatures are variable - usually cold, and lights are bright or dark with occasional exposure to flashing lights and pyrotechnics

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This position is a non-exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
