Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator in Manufacturing to receive, move, and ship inventory following GMPs and safety guidelines. You will load trailers, maintain accurate records, and complete shipping documents.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, adaptability to shift work including nights and weekends, and teamwork with a focus on attendance and continuous improvement. Training and a forklift license are required or can be obtained.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate GMPs and Pre-Op Inspection Guidelines.
• Must demonstrate safe working habits.
• Must be able to define problems, utilize logic and draw conclusions.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 75 pounds.
• Must be able to work under stressful situations, capable of adapting to change for continuous improvement.
• Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift.

• Must have good human relation skills (team player).
• Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays and extended periods.
• Ability to withstand repetitive bending, twisting, stooping, walking, standing and sitting.

• Must follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
