Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to receive, pick, and ship inventory. You will load trailers, maintain accurate records, and ensure safety and compliance with GMP and Pre-Op guidelines.

The role requires lifting heavy items, flexibility to work various shifts, and the ability to operate a forklift with an emphasis on accuracy and teamwork. Permanent, full-time position with opportunities in a large retail supply chain.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of GMPs and Pre-Op Inspection Guidelines.
• Safe working habits and ability to work under pressure.
• Able to define problems, use logic and draw conclusions.
• Able to lift in excess of 75 pounds.
• Willingness to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have or obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
