Job summary

Traditions PerformanceFirearms is seeking a Material Handler/Receiver to join our team in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. This full-time position involves receiving shipments, verifying accuracy, and ensuring proper storage and order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include reading production schedules, organizing stock, picking and packing orders, performing cycle counts, and maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Receiving, warehouse experience required.
• Forklift / Reach Truck operation experience required.
• Basic reading and writing (English language) and math ability are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, detail oriented.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team member.
• Ability to adapt and provide fast response to changes.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Receiveshipments to the warehouse, verify accuracy, and conduct receipt of goodentry
• Readproduction schedule provided by production supervisor, customer orders, orrequisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Sortand place materials on appropriate racks, bins, or shelves.
• Assemblecustomer orders from stock and place on pallets or in shipping containers.
• Orderpicking and staging is done to company standards in a safe manner
• Establishand maintain efficient order picking practices.
• Performcycle counts and inventory updates.
• Abilityto push, pull or lift minimum of 65 lbs.
• Packagebulk materials into retail packaging accurately and according to bill ofmaterials
• Packagecustomer orders in shipping cartons accurately according to customerorders and pick sheets.
• Performduties assigned by warehouse manager and Shipping supervisor.
• Positionreports to Shipping Supervisor.
• Regularattendance is required.
• Mayoccasionally be required to work overtime.
