Shaw’s and Star Market in South Portland, ME is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations, ensure accurate receiving and stocking, and maintain inventory integrity. You will walk the store daily to scan items and identify shortages or overstock while partnering with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk.

Qualifications

• Experience receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in a retail or grocery environment.
• Basic computer skills including email and familiarity with store portals or inventory systems.
• Attention to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit accurately.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness, security, and order in backroom and receiving areas.
• Ability to make independent decisions and resolve issues related to inventory and deliveries.
