Job description

A Day in the Life:

As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you’ll be overseeing all Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations, ensuring merchandise is accurately received, accounted for, and stocked. You’ll walk the store daily to scan DSD items, identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions, and partner closely with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk. You’ll also communicate regularly with the Store Director to support inventory accuracy and promotional execution. Your role includes monitoring donations, managing grocery and non‑perishable inventories, and maintaining a secure, clean, and organized backroom environment. If you’re detail‑oriented, tech‑savvy, and thrive in a fast‑paced setting, this role offers a great opportunity to contribute meaningfully to store operations.

What you bring to the table:

• Inventory Management Skills: Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory, especially in a retail or grocery environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills including email, Excel, and familiarity with store portals or inventory systems.

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift/carry 5–50 lbs., push/pull 10–50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Customer Service Orientation: Commitment to upholding a positive customer experience through accurate inventory and store readiness.
