Job summary

RTX's REPA team in Massachusetts seeks an engineer to analyze circuits, simulate designs and document hardware ready for mission use. You will work on analog, digital and RF modules and coordinate with internal customers and programs.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Electrical Engineering, excel at teamwork, and bring a proactive problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced defense environment. This onsite role offers strong growth and access to advanced aerospace projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field.
  • GPA 3.0 or higher is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform circuit analysis and validation across analog, digital, and RF domains.
  • Run circuit simulations and develop design documentation.
  • Maintain design documentation and assess obsolescence risks.
  • Troubleshoot hardware performance and integration issues.
  • Test and integrate digital, analog, and RF components.
  • Collaborate with technicians, operations, and quality teams.
  • Develop solutions to test issues and improve productivity.

Receiver, Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department

The Receiver, Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) department is composed of an energetic multi-disciplinary team working collaboratively with internal and external customers and programs to provide mission ready capabilities to our warfighters. We research, develop, design, and integrate electrical (Analog, Power, RF/Microwave, and Digital) components, embedded and digital signal processing software, equipment, systems, sub-systems, and networks for the defense of domestic and foreign purposes.

  • Circuit analysis
  • Circuit simulation
  • Design documentation maintenance
  • Trade assessments for obsolescence resolution
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification
  • Integration and test of Digital, Analog, and RF components and modules
  • Work as part of a team to analyze Hardware/Firmware test requirements / specifications to determine Hardware and Firmware requirements
  • Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity and efficiency enhancements
  • Interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel
Qualifications
You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
We Prefer
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
  • Well-developed communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to complex technical problems
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
  • Ability to promote a culture of continuous learning, cross-team collaboration and training

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
