Curtis Lumber Co, Inc. is seeking experienced receivers to join our outdoor lumber yard team in Ballston Spa, NY. This full-time role starts at 6:30am and requires the ability to lift 50–80 lbs and operate a propane forklift safely.

You will verify incoming merchandise, adhere to receiving policies, and provide strong customer service in a demanding outdoor environment. Paid weekly with generous benefits and quarterly raises based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience receiving merchandise and verifying incoming goods.
• Outdoor yard role requiring physical work in all weather.
• Must be able to lift 50–80 lbs regularly and operate a propane forklift safely.

Our lumber yard is looking to find experienced hard working individuals to join our team of Receivers to receive and verify all incoming merchandise and materials into the facility, this position works outside in our lumber yard.

$20 - $22 starting rate depending on experience! Annual performance based raises.

• Full time 40+ hours per week - Start time 6:30am
• Understand and follow receiving policy and procedure
• Safe and proper use of equipment and materials
• Work outside year-round
• Customer service
• Paid weekly on Fridays
• Discretionary profit share after one year of employment
• Six paid holidays and PTO Immediately
• Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly and able to operate a propane forklift safely
• Must wear PPE
• Building material product knowledge a plus
