Job summary

Curtis Lumber Co Inc. in Ray Brook, NY seeks a reliable Receiver to verify all incoming merchandise and materials and ensure accurate stock intake. You will follow receiving policies, operate equipment safely, and support customers and store operations.

The role is full-time, 40+ hours weekly, with weekly pay and potential raises based on performance. A physical ability to lift 50-80 lbs and operate a propane forklift safely is required.

Qualifications

• Receivers must understand and follow receiving policy and procedure.
• Ability to handle and inspect incoming merchandise with attention to detail.
• Customer service orientation when assisting store operations and customers.

Ray Brook is looking to find experienced hard working individuals to join our team of Receivers to receive and verify all incoming merchandise and materials into the facility.

Hourly Rate: $19 - $21 starting rate depending on experience! Annual performance based raises.

• Full time 40+ hours per week
• Understand and follow receiving policy and procedure
• Safe and proper use of equipment and materials
• Work outside year-round
• Customer service
• Paid weekly on Fridays
• Discretionary profit share after one year of employment
• Six paid holidays and PTO Immediately
• Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly and able to operate a propane forklift safely
• Must wear PPE
• Building material product knowledge a plus
