Job summary

Medline Industries, LP seeks a Recall Specialist in Mundelein, IL to support product recall activities by assisting customers, sales reps, and QA teams with recall inquiries via phone and email. You will coordinate handling of recalled products and ensure compliance with internal procedures and FDA regulations.

Under supervision, you will execute recall steps, manage sub-recalls, prepare documentation, and maintain accurate records to support timely recall resolution.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience
• Documentation management experience
• Exposure to regulated processes and recall responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain designated returned product areas to ensure timely and accurate processing of returned product.
• Issue return labels, RGAs, credits and/or replacement products to support effective recall resolution.
• Review and respond to internal and external email inquiries related to product recalls within 24 hours of receipt
• Execute and coordinate assigned steps related to sub-recall notifications in accordance with internal procedures.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and organized records for each sub-recall to document compliance with established procedures
• Maintain current knowledge of and adhere to applicable federal regulations and internal requirements governing product-recalls.
• Work proactively and collaboratively with Quality Assurance team members and other divisional personnel to support recall execution.
• Collaborate with vendors to reconcile recalled product returns and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide directions to Quality Control Personnel to identify, segregate, and secure affected recalled products to ensure that they are not released for sale.
