Job summary

Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) seeks a REC Team Leader to provide direct services, connect clients with community resources, and oversee short-term care for individuals with acute mental health or SUD needs.

The REC Team Leader will supervise staff, develop treatment plans, and ensure program goals and compliance with agency standards, Medicaid requirements, and contracts. This role offers growth and mission-driven impact in a community health setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mental Health or Human Services related field.
• At least three years of experience working with persons with severe MH impairment.
• Excellent oral and written communication and crisis management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff to meet program goals and adhere to standards.
• Develop goals, treatment plans, and program oversight for REC responsibilities.
• Hold staff accountable to Medicaid and contract standards.

Position Responsibilities for REC Team Leader

• Strives to attain the goals as written in their job performance evaluations and abide by the standards as outlined in GCB’s Compliance Plan.
• Develops goals, and completes treatment plans and program oversight for REC responsibilities
• Supervise staff in order to maintain program goals.
• Hold staff accountable to maintain agency minimum standards for Medicaid and contracts.
• Leads staff to meet standards and maintain agency expectations.
• Serves as a role model for staff to provide services.
• Manages day-to-day work functions of staff including, training, onboarding, productivity standards, documentation standards, and deadlines.
• Ensures staff are up to date on agency training and maintains high-quality standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements for REC Team Leader

• Bachelors degree in Mental Health or Human Services Related Degree preferred
• At least three years of experience working with persons with severe MH impairment
• Excellent oral and written communication,
• Excellent crisis management and problem-solving skills
