Job summary

The Elmhurst Park District is seeking a part-time Rec Station Assistant Director to support the Site Director in planning, coordinating and implementing a quality Rec Station program with activities in arts and crafts, drama, sports, and field trips. You will maintain daily communication with parents, build rapport with School District staff, and step in as Site Director when needed.

Shifts run Monday–Friday mornings and afternoons, with no nights, weekends, or major holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and school district staff.
• Flexibility with split shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Director in planning, coordinating and implementing a quality Rec Station program.
• Create activities in arts and crafts, drama, sports and games, outdoor recreation and field trips.
• Maintain daily communication with parents and staff.
• Assume Site Director responsibilities as needed and assist with setup/takedown of equipment.
