Elmhurst Park District in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a part-time Rec Station Assistant Director to support the Site Director in planning and running a quality Rec Station program for before- and after-school hours.

You will design arts and crafts, drama, sports and field trips, while building strong communications with parents and school partners, and stepping in for the Site Director when needed. This role offers a friendly team environment and meaningful community impact.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Director in planning, coordinating and implementing a quality Rec Station program.
• Create activities in arts and crafts, drama, sports and games, outdoor recreation, field trips, special events, socialization and quiet activities.
• Assist Site Director in maintaining good communication lines with parents through daily communication systems.
• Develop and maintain good rapport and communications with School District staff at the program site.
• Assume responsibilities of Site Director as needed.
• Assist with set-up and takedown of equipment.
