Job summary

Merit Restorations in Purcellville, VA seeks a Rebuild Service Line Director to own the standards, training, and quality of all reconstruction operations across Core Claims and Large Loss. This leadership role reports to the VP of Branch Operations & Integration Performance and collaborates with senior leaders.

You will build the operating system that every Project Manager, Estimator, and branch runs on, and train them to Merit’s exacting standards while traveling regularly across Merit markets

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in insurance restoration or reconstruction leadership.
• Advanced estimating skills, including airtight scopes and supplements.
• Experience overseeing multi-trade reconstruction projects, residential and commercial.
• Strong understanding of the insurance claims process and adjuster relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle SOPs for rebuild operations from handoff to closeout.
• Set estimating and supplement standards and document every dollar.
• Build and maintain an audit system with branch reviews and quality scoring.
• Define subcontractor standards and accountability across locations.
• Lead rebuild training covering estimating, project management, and carrier communication.
• Own division performance metrics (cycle time, accuracy, gross margin, supplement rates).
