Job description

RE-BATH OF SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN

Office Administrator - Construction Operations

Keep the office organized and the construction team moving.

EMPLOYMENT Full-Time

SCHEDULE Monday-Friday

WORK LOCATION In Person

Re-Bath of Southeast Michigan is seeking a highly organized, dependable Office Administrator to support our residential remodeling operation. This is an office-based administrative role for someone who is strong with documentation, customer communication, scheduling support, and follow-through - and who has enough construction or remodeling knowledge to understand how jobs move from contract through installation and completion.

The Office Administrator serves as an administrative resource for Operations, Production, Installation, Sales, and Customer Service. The role helps keep job files accurate, paperwork complete, information organized, and routine follow-up moving so our office and field teams have what they need.

This is not a construction management position. The right candidate should, however, be comfortable with common construction terminology, job sequencing, scheduling changes, permits, work orders, change information, customer documentation, and coordination between office and field teams.

What You'll Support
  • Maintain organized and accurate customer and job files, including electronic records and required project documentation.
  • Enter and update project information in CRM, scheduling, and business systems accurately and promptly.
  • Support Production and Operations with scheduling information, installation updates, and routine administrative follow-up.
  • Assist with permits, work orders, change information, customer forms, material documentation, and other remodeling-related paperwork.
  • Communicate routine project and scheduling updates to customers and route operational issues to the appropriate team member.
  • Answer and route calls, prepare correspondence, scan and file documents, maintain records, and assist with reports and spreadsheets.
  • Follow up on missing or incomplete information and help close administrative gaps before they create project delays.
The Role

A typical day may include reviewing customer files, entering updates into our systems, assisting with scheduling information, communicating routine status updates to customers, organizing construction-related paperwork, and following up when information is missing.

You may be helping a customer understand an installation window in one moment and organizing a permit document, change request, job file, or production update the next. Success requires accuracy, responsiveness, sound judgment, and the ability to manage several administrative priorities at once.

We are looking for someone who notices incomplete or inconsistent information and takes initiative to correct it. You should be comfortable asking questions, following established processes, and escalating construction or customer issues to the appropriate manager when needed.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong office administration experience with excellent organization and follow-through.
  • Previous experience in construction, residential remodeling, home improvement, property management, contracting, or another project-based environment is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of construction terminology, installation schedules, permits, work orders, customer contracts, change orders, or job documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, installers, salespeople, managers, and office staff.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel, along with the ability to learn CRM, scheduling, and project management systems.
  • Accurate recordkeeping, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to prioritize competing requests in a fast-moving environment.
What Success Looks Like

Office and project records are organized, accurate, and current. Customer and job files are complete. Routine paperwork is processed promptly. Scheduling and documentation updates are entered correctly, and Operations and Production can rely on the information in our systems.

The strongest Office Administrators become trusted resources because they know where information is located, follow through consistently, identify missing details early, and help prevent administrative issues from slowing the construction process.

Who Will Excel Here

You take pride in being organized and dependable. You notice details others may overlook, enjoy maintaining accurate files and systems, and are comfortable in an environment where construction schedules and daily priorities can change quickly.

You understand that strong administration supports strong field execution. You know when to handle a routine matter yourself and when to involve someone with operational authority.
