Apex Tool Group is seeking a Finance Analyst to act as the subject matter expert for rebate analysis, forecasting, and processing. You will own the rebate lifecycle from data input to budgeting, partnering with North America finance and cross-functional sales teams to deliver timely close tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analyst.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel required.
• Experience with SAP, Tableau, and/or Hyperion preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced organization.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Self-motivated and problem-solving approach to new responsibilities.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Ability to balance competing responsibilities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales and marketing teams to understand rebate programs.
• Prepare and review supporting documentation for each rebate program.
• Input changes and new rebate programs into SAP.
• Maintain rebate systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness of credit memos.
• Review rebate accruals and progress towards growth targets.
• Review, analyze, and improve current rebate processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Streamline workflows across channels and customers to add efficiencies for commercial and finance teams.
• Work with the Finance team to complete forecast and budget process.
• Help support the North America finance team with various close tasks.
• Be an active member of the finance team supporting the business to complete forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis responsibilities.
