DACP Construction LLC in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Rod Buster to install reinforcing steel for concrete structures on heavy civil and mission-critical projects. This full-time, on-site role requires reading blueprints, measuring and cutting rebar, tying with hand and power tools, and coordinating with concrete crews to meet strict tolerances and schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience reading drawings, and a commitment to safety.

Formación

• Read and interpret construction drawings, rebar schedules, and basic layout information.
• Hands-on skills for measuring, cutting, bending, tying, and placing reinforcing steel using appropriate tools.
• Knowledge of concrete construction practices and safety standards.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and travel to Corpus Christi area sites.

Responsabilidades

• Read blueprints and rebar placement drawings and place reinforcing steel accordingly.
• Measure, cut, bend, tie, and place rebar using hand and power tools.
• Assemble reinforcement cages and mats per specifications.
• Coordinate with concrete and masonry crews to maintain schedule and quality tolerance.
• Inspect materials and report issues to supervisors; maintain safe work practices.
