ZTEX Construction Inc. is seeking a Rod Buster/Rebar worker to cut, shape, and position reinforcing bars in concrete forms for foundations, walls, and columns. The candidate should be energetic, safety-conscious, and able to learn quickly, working as part of a team.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, determining rod quantities and placements, and securing bars with tools and equipment while complying with fall protection and safety standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; two years minimum rod/buster experience preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and placing reinforcing steel per specs.
• Knowledge of CAD software and ability to interpret structural drawings.

Mansioni

• Examine blueprints to determine dimensions of structure.
• Determine quantities and locations of reinforcing rods from plans.
• Space and fasten rods in forms using hand tools and equipment.
• Position and secure steel bars in concrete forms and supervise placement.
