Job summary

White Cap is seeking a hands-on, production-focused individual to manufacture customized rebar products in Maine. You will operate rebar fabrication equipment, follow work orders, and prepare finished products for shipment in an outdoor/indoor setting.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, making adjustments per process, and maintaining a safe, organized work area, with adherence to safety policies. Some outdoor exposure and lifting up to 50 pounds are involved.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or strongly preferred.
• Experience in rebar fabrication or related production environment beneficial.
• Ability to read basic work orders and rebar tags.
• Use of PPE and adherence to safety policies required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate reinforcing steel (rebar) products per work orders and tag specs.
• Set up and operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, automatic bending machines).
• Organize materials and finished products according to production flow and supervisor direction.
• Inspect finished materials for accuracy and conformance to specs; identify and adjust defects.
• Prepare products for shipment with protective packaging to prevent damage.
