Job summary

White Cap is seeking a hands-on production teammate to manufacture customized rebar products in Odessa, TX. You’ll follow work orders, tag specifications, and ensure quality as you operate rebar fabrication equipment and prepare products for shipment.

This on-site role requires HS Diploma or GED, 0–2 years’ experience in manufacturing, and familiarity with reading work orders. PPE use and safety training are required, with occasional outdoor work and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in rebar fabrication or related production environment.
• Ability to read basic work orders and rebar tags.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification required, where applicable.
• Use of PPE is required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate reinforcing steel (rebar) products according to work orders and tag specifications.
• Set up and safely operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, automated bending machines).
• Stack, band, and stage materials following production flow and supervisor direction.
• Inspect finished materials for accuracy against specifications.
• Prepare completed products for shipment with protective materials to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all safety policies.
• Work indoors and outdoors and be prepared for varying weather conditions.
