Job summary

White Cap is seeking a hands-on Rebar Fabricator to manufacture customized rebar products according to work orders, tag specifications, and quality standards. This is a production role requiring safe operation of rebar fabrication equipment, material handling, and preparation of finished products for shipment in an industrial environment.

The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, working indoors or outdoors, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate reinforcing steel (rebar) products according to work orders and tag specifications.
• Set up and safely operate rebar fabrication equipment such as shears, benders, and automated bending machines.
• Stack, band, and stage materials and organize in production flow as directed by supervisor.
• Inspect finished materials visually and by measurements to ensure conformance to specs.
• Identify defects and adjust according to established processes.
• Prepare finished products for shipment using protective materials to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and comply with safety policies.
• Perform duties indoors and outdoors, with exposure to weather conditions.
