Responsibilities

Directs fabrication operations to meet production and budget goals.
Oversees operations to ensure schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
Determines equipment availability and capabilities to schedule fabrication orders.
Coordinates shop activities with sales.
Instructs and monitors staff regarding safety issues.
Ensures workplace safety and OSHA compliance.
Requests repairs and equipment as needed.
Ensures safe loading/unloading of trucks.
Manages inventory loss (scrap) through production.
Monitors rebar inventory.
