Responsibilities

• Directs fabrication operations to meet production and budgetary goals.

• Determines equipment availability and capabilities for scheduling fabrication orders.
• Coordinates shop activities with sales.
• Instructs and monitors staff regarding safety issues.
• Ensures workplace safety and OSHA compliance.
• Requests repairs and equipment as needed for the shop.
• Ensures accurate and safe loading and unloading of trucks.
• Manages inventory loss (scrap) throughout production.
• Monitors rebar inventory to support fabrication needs.
• Guides a team of professionals and/or supports staff.
