Job summary

Nucor Corporation is seeking an estimator in Marion, OH to prepare detailed quantities for reinforcing bars, mesh, and related products for bids. You will leverage Takeoff and aSa Estimating software while progressing through NRF Estimator Training to sharpen your estimation skills.

You will review plans, collaborate with the Estimating Lead and sales teams, and ensure timely, accurate bids. The role requires attention to safety and accuracy in a demanding construction environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read and understand construction drawings (structural, architectural, civil).
• Experience with reinforcement bar estimating and takeoff software.
• Knowledge of CRSI/ACI standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely estimates of quantities for reinforcing bars, mesh, and related products for bids.
• Utilize Takeoff and aSa Estimating software to produce accurate proposals.
• Coordinate with sales and Estimating Lead to refine scope and bidding strategy.
