Assurant is seeking a Repairs Operations Manager to lead device processing, drive throughput and quality, and oversee frontline staff in Mt Juliet, TN. This onsite role demands strong Lean and Six Sigma background, data-driven decision making, and emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

You will coach teams, implement reporting, and partner with leadership to shape daily production plans while delivering reliable customer SLAs in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, assembly, reverse logistics, or related operational environments.
  • 5+ years leading supervisors and frontline operations teams.
  • Proven experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Experience managing an hourly workforce in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor workflows, enforce quality controls, and implement reporting systems to track KPIs.
  • Partner with leadership to set daily production plans, priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize operations through line balancing, WIP reduction, and process improvements.
  • Coach, train, and develop team members; foster a positive, high-performance culture.
  • Implement and improve operational systems, procedures, and workforce planning.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.

Job description

The Repair Operations Manager leads device processing operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role is accountable for production performance, quality standards, workforce development, and operational efficiency. You’ll oversee supervisors and technical teams to ensure production goals and customer SLAs are consistently met.

This is an onsite role in our Mt Juliet TN facility.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Experience in wireless device repair, electronics manufacturing, OEM operations, or mobile device processing
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, R2, or similar quality certifications
  • Familiarity with repair technologies, barcode scanning systems, and production tracking tools
  • 10+ years of operations or production leadership experience

Pay Range

$74,600.00 - $124,700.00
