Job summary

Walmart Realty Execution team in Cromwell, CT is seeking a Realty Project Coach to own store and club remodels, new stores, and special projects across the US. You will lead hourly team members, handle escalations, and collaborate with store leadership to keep projects on track and on schedule.

This role involves night shifts, frequent multi-state travel up to 1000 miles, and a strong focus on safety, quality and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations data analysis, or related area OR 3 years of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Influence others: motivate team to meet timelines and deliverables on projects; encourage collaboration and teamwork among associates; resolve concerns with store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
• Project ownership: own the execution of projects in assigned stores; communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders; minimize impact to store operations.
• Develop associates: supervise and develop team members; listen to ideas and concerns; train, mentor, and recognize talent; identify career paths.
